Plot
The film dramatizes the 2015 operation to evacuate Chinese and other nationals from war-torn Yemen in 2015.[1][5]
Controversy
Home Operation has drawn controversy from the former residents of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, the Syrian town destroyed during the Syrian civil war, for their town being a primary filming location.[5]
