The Marvel star, who appeared on the musical game show “That’s My Jam” earlier this week, was challenged to cover 50 Cent’s famous rap with a country twist.

"In this challenge [Musical Genre Challenge], you're going to get a song title in a completely different musical genre. Then, you're going to have to sing that song in that style," host Jimmy Fallon explains to him.

Fellow artists Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey and Adam Lambert can be seen cheering Liu on in a clip of his performance, which was posted on Thursday.

"Go shawty, it’s your birthday, we gon’ party like it's your birthday," he sings with a twang.

This is not Liu’s first foray into music.

On April 7, he released an inspirational new song titled “Don’t," and just last month, he sang parodies of hit songs by fellow Canadians Nickelback and Avril Lavigne at the 2023 Juno Awards.

He has also posted several videos of him singing online, such as a cover of David Allen Coe’s “Tennessee Whiskey” and a mashup of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “White Christmas” with AJ Rafael.

The “Barbie” star’s full appearance on “That’s My Jam” will air on NBC on Monday.
