What you get

Powerful search & news, a marketplace with digital goods, a personal library for Books, a Wallet for on-platform payments, Developer APIs, and business tools (Suite/CRM, Flow editor, Virtual Rep, Telephony, Mail).

What we expect

Keep your account secure, follow acceptable use, respect IP & privacy, pay applicable fees/taxes, and don’t break the law or our security.

How issues get resolved

We provide reasonable support, may suspend misuse, and offer a clear process for disputes, notices, and takedowns.

1) Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the Platform, or using any Roovet Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any service-specific rules referenced below. If you’re using Roovet on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

2) Roovet Services

Search & News

Web search, knowledge overviews, suggestions, and a curated news experience with channels, articles, and Top Stories. You may not scrape result pages or bypass rate limits.

Shop & Orders

Marketplace listings, product pages, carts, checkout, orders, and seller tools. Availability, pricing, taxes, and shipping depend on the seller and locale. We may use anti-fraud checks and reserve the right to cancel suspicious transactions.

Books & Library

Browse and acquire books or digital publications. Licensed content is for your personal, non-commercial reading unless a license says otherwise. Download and sharing rules are defined per title.

Wallet

A stored-value feature for on-platform payments, transfers, and payouts (where available). The Wallet is not a bank account. Balances may be held by payment partners. You’re responsible for funding sources, chargebacks, and regulatory compliance in your region.

Developers & API

Programmatic access to endpoints (versioned) with scopes, rate limits, idempotency, and webhooks. Keep your keys secret, use only documented endpoints, and comply with per-endpoint status (alpha/beta/stable) and fair use.

Suite / CRM & Flow

Business tools for writing and collaboration (Flow), drive and file management, quotes, invoices, reports, websites, inventory, moving-industry modules, and customer communications. Role-based access and audit trails may apply.

Virtual Rep & Telephony

Telephony features, number pools, and virtual representative workflows. You must follow applicable telecom and spam laws, gain consent where needed, and avoid harassing or unlawful calls or messages.

Mail

Integrated mail client features, forwarding, and attachments. Do not use Mail to send spam, phishing, malware, or illegal content. We may rate-limit or quarantine messages to protect users.

Providers (“Pros”) & Public Pages

Public storefronts, provider directories, and content feeds (e.g., Pulse/Newsroom). Provider listings must be accurate and lawful. We may moderate or remove misleading, infringing, or unsafe content.

3) Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your credentials and devices.
  • Minimum age and regional restrictions may apply; some features require additional verification.
  • Organizations are responsible for user management and permissions within their account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or law.

4) Acceptable Use

Always Allowed
  • Legitimate search, reading, purchasing, and business operations within your access level.
  • API calls that respect scopes, versions, rate limits, and idempotency.
  • Lawful communications with proper consent and opt-out where applicable.
Never Allowed
  • Abuse, harassment, hate speech, doxxing, or threats of violence.
  • Fraud, account sharing beyond policy, scraping that bypasses limits, or reverse engineering.
  • Malware, phishing, or attempts to breach, overload, or bypass security.
  • Infringement of IP, privacy violations, or illegal products/services.

5) User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain rights to your content. You grant Roovet a limited, worldwide license to host, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the Services. Do not upload content you do not have rights to. We honor valid takedown requests and may remove content that violates law or these Terms.

6) Payments, Wallet & Taxes

  • Fees, prices, and currency are shown before checkout. Taxes and shipping (if any) are calculated at checkout.
  • The Wallet supports top-ups, transfers, and payouts where supported. Withdrawals may require identity verification.
  • Chargebacks, refunds, and disputes follow the seller’s policy and payment network rules. Abuse may lead to limits or suspension.
  • You are responsible for understanding your tax obligations. Sellers must collect/remit taxes where required.
Important: The Wallet is a stored-value feature designed for platform activity, not a bank account or investment product.

7) Subscriptions & Trials

If a Service is subscription-based, billing recurs until canceled. Trial conversions are billed at the end of the trial unless canceled. We’ll explain renewal dates, cancellation methods, and any changes to pricing with reasonable notice.

8) Developers & API Terms

  • Use only documented endpoints under /api with valid keys and scopes.
  • Respect rate limits, version headers, idempotency, and endpoint lifecycle (alpha/beta/stable).
  • Securely store keys and verify webhooks with HMAC as described in the docs.
  • Do not build competing indices by scraping Roovet or misrepresent data provenance.

9) Security

We take reasonable measures to protect accounts and data. You must implement prudent security (strong passwords, MFA, device hygiene). If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately. For disclosures, see the Security page.

10) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Where applicable, we honor requests to access, correct, export, or delete personal data.

11) Third-Party Services

Certain features rely on third-party providers (payments, telecom, analytics, content delivery). Their terms and privacy practices apply where you interact with them. We’re not responsible for outages or changes beyond our control.

12) Changes to the Services or Terms

We continuously improve Roovet. We may modify, add, or remove features and update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.

13) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risks to users, non-payment, fraud, or legal requests. On termination, your license ends and we may retain data as required by law or legitimate business needs.

14) Disclaimers

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Roovet makes no warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Search, rankings, availability, and performance may vary.

15) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roovet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability relating to your use of the Services will not exceed the greater of amounts paid by you to Roovet for the twelve months preceding the event or USD $100.

16) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Roovet harmless from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

17) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by applicable law where Roovet is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before formal action, the parties will attempt good-faith resolution. Where allowed, disputes may be handled through binding arbitration on an individual basis; class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law.
